Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM)
CIM, founded in 1980, is jointly run by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the International Placement Services (ZAV) of the German Federal Employment Agency. CIM works on behalf of the German Government with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as main commissioning party is the. CIM also works for other German ministries, however, such as the Federal Foreign Office, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
At CIM headquarters, development policy know-how and job market expertise are effectively combined with team members coming from both the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the German Federal Employment Agency.
