The establishment of SEELS was supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Open Regional Fund for South East Europe-Legal Reform. The regular members of SEELS, by means of direct financial contribution and revenue offer teaching, human resources and related support services on annual basis upon approval of the annual Operational Plan and Budget Plan for the activities of SEELS and the functioning of the Centre for SEELS. SEELS as institutionalized network is eligible to apply for additional EU funds and programmes (ERASMUS, TEMPUS, FP7, etc.), as well for other donors and international funded projects.
